Here is project number 88. Some swap friends discovered the BFF cowl on Ravelry and wanted to make it. I looked it over a decided I wanted to go with a dk weight yarn instead of worsted, so I found a partner that also wanted to use the same yarn as me. Once I started following the pattern though, I didn't really like it (purl 5 together? that's crazy!), so we decided to design our own and swap. My design has i-cord edges, with small cables on the sides, and a heart motif in the middle (same one as Eliana's blanket). I think it turned out pretty great (if I do say so myself)!
Here are project numbers 86 and 87. I forgot to take a picture of number 87, but it is the same pattern and yarn as 86, just in a different color. Number 86 is a gift for a swap friend and 87 is up in the shop as a sample.
Date Completed - November 6, 2012 and November 8, 2012
Project number 77 was finishing up my Grandma's lap quilt. She gave me the materials several years ago and I just finally got it done. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of it before leaving CO.
Date Completed - October 13, 2012
Pattern - Basic small squares patchwork in various greens and creams
Here are project numbers 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, and 59. I made some baby blankets out of some new flannel fabric and using up seersucker scraps. Date completed August 16, 2012.
Here are project numbers 49 and 50. I sold two of my previously posted tote bags, so I had to make some more. Carrie might remember this fabric that I bought in Colorado a couple of years ago.
Here is project number 46, which we did as a class at the shop. It was a good knit but I was a little disappointed with the pattern. I expected it to kind-of build off of itself but it really didn't. Regardless, it still made a nice shawl.
Here is project number 45. I really liked the idea of knitting with three skeins at a time and only doing one row of each. It's a great way to blend multiple skeins and I know use it all the time.
Project numbers 40, 41, 42, 43, and 44 are dishclothes I knitted in quilt block designs. Unfortunately I couldn't get a good picture of any of them, so I'll just list the names and completion dates. They are all made out of stashed Sugar n' Cream 100% cotton on a size 8 needle.
Here is project number 39, which is also up in The Knitting Corner to display the yarn and pattern. This made quite an impression when I wore it to the July guild meeting.
Here is project number 37, which a baby blanket for charity. I ran out of the donated white yarn (which was held double) and improvised with some chunky leftovers.
Date Completed - May 23, 2012
Pattern - On the bias 36" square with single crochet edge
Here is project number 26, which is another sample for the shop. Although by the time I had it finished we only had one kit left to sell. It took so long because the edging was messed up and Sue had to chart it out on her computer, which was down for about a week. Never the less, it turned out great!
