Projects 80 and 81 are a couple of washcloths to match my decorated towels. This way I can give them out in sets for Christmas. A great way to use up stash and it is perfect 'public' knitting (small projects with no thinking involved). I like the design of the blue one better so I'll definitely be making more of that one. June/July 2015 - Grandma's Visit
Had fun while Grandma was visiting. We went to several parks and walked around. I was able to get some fun photos!
June 2015 - 73 through 79
June was another slow month as I transitioned between homes and jobs.
June 8th was a sewing day and I made 5 pillowcases for Project Comfort.
June 17th, I finished a stripy shawl (pattern is "Different Lines") using some of Nancy's stash yarn (no idea what it is but so soft).
June 28th, I finished Carrie's July "Rose City Rollers" socks. Only took one skein of Regia and they knit up super quick!
May 2015 - 51 through 72
Project 51 was Carrie's May "Aphrodite" socks, completed May 1. Of course, I sent them before remembering to take a picture.
May 7, I finished 18 decorated towels for our yard sale. I sold several and will save the rest to give out as gifts (probably for Christmas).
May 9, I finished Carrie's June "Leaf Garden" socks.
Finally, on May 29th, I finished test-knitting Linda's new pattern "Weekend at the Hendersons: Mac".
April 23-26, 2015 - Grand Canyon
Grandma and I had a lot of fun visiting the Grand Canyon. Lots of great pictures!! We saw deer, elk, a wild pig, squirrels, and a very brave chipmunk. We also went horse back riding in outside of the park. My horse was called Ben K.
April 2015 - 35 through 50
Lots of finished projects in April!! (I guess to make up for a slow March!) :)
Project 35 is a shawl. Pattern is "Color Affection", yarn is Ella Rae Lace Merino, and date completed is April 6, 2015.
Project 36 is a knitted top. Pattern is "Anchored", yarn is a dk cotton, and date completed is April 10, 2015. Unfortunately this project did not really turn out so no pics.
April 12 was a sewing day, and I finished 11 infinity scarves in preparation for out upcoming Yard Sale on Mother's Day weekend. I had a nice selection of scarves available but no one was interested so I ended up donating them all to Project Comfort.
April 18 I (Finally!!) finished my prism pirate quilt and made a Marvel-themed project bag for Brenna's birthday.
