Happy Halloween!

Here is Sue and myself in our yarn wigs. Sue is being an evil witch with an evil look while I'm just wearing a silly, colorful turban.
Here is another photo of my rainbow yarn wig. It turned out very cute but didn't want to stay on my head and was very heavy so I didn't wear it for very long! We did get some laughs out of the customers though!!

Shop Samples

Here are some of the samples I've made for The Knitting Corner! This is a new pattern that comes with a couple of different options. This one is a cabled, buttoned cowl made out of the Manos Maxima. I have enough of the yarn leftover that I'm also making the Turtleneck cowl as well, which is in the round and has a slightly different cable pattern.

I made this sweater early in the summer out of the Sublime Baby Cashmere. The pattern is in one of the Sublime booklets, and turned out very cute. I just love the periwinkle color!

This is the new Louisa Harding Grace hand-dyed that we just put on the shelf for October. The pattern is in one of the Louisa Harding booklets and is just so cute and the yarn is so warm. I took this to the guild meeting this month and when the room got chilly I put this on and was comfortable for the rest of the night.

The fiber content is 50% Merino and 50% silk. The price is a little high for only 110 yards but the colors are just to die for and because of my sample, we have already sold the materials to make one. :)
