2013 - 39 & 40

Projects 39 and 40 are linked cowls I made as a sample for the shop. I used Louisa Harding Grace, which is a wool/silk blend and size 7 needles. Each link is one skein of that particular color. Date completed is February 21, 2013.

2013 - 34 through 38

Projects 34 through 38 are dpn cases I made to sell at the yarn shop. All the supplies came from stash and these were completed February 20, 2013. I took them into the shop yesterday (02-21-13) and we sold the green and purple one (top pic, far left) that day! :) 

2013 - 32 & 33

Projects 32 and 33 are holiday towels for a Valentine's Day swap. All the materials came from stash and these were completed on February 9, 2013. These went to Carolyn in TX.

2013 - 30 & 31

Projects 30 and 31 are crafted items for one of my swaps. My partner loved purple and wants to learn how to knit socks, so I made her a matching project bag and dpn case. All materials came from stash and these were completed on February 9, 2013. They went to Amy in PA for the Swap Stop Winter Face Your Fears swap.

2013 - 25 through 29

Projects 25 through 29 are more stitch markers for swaps. All materials came from stash and they were completed February 3 and 8, 2013.

 This set went to Alex in OH as part of an angel package for the Christmas 2012 Swap Group. The zippered bag was made years ago and finally gifted away (so it's not counted as a 2013 project).

 This set went to Carrie in CO as a Valentine's gift.

 This set went to Amy in ND as part of The Dollar Store Group Sweetheart Exchange February Swap.

 This set went to Jill in NJ as a RAK.

This set went to Carolyn in TX as part of the Mark the Spot Group February Swap.

2013 - 24

Project number 24 is another sample for the shop. Sue wanted another sample for the Painted Desert sock yarn (we already have a cowl made up) and I found this cute Sockhead Hat pattern on Ravelry. I used 3.00mm (2.5 US) and have enough of the yarn left-over to make some matching mini mitts. This was completed February 2, 2013.

2013 - 23

Project number 23 was a December/January knit-a-long I participated in on Ravelry. This is the Wowl Cowl by Colorworks by Debi. It was fun for my first attempt at Fair Isle. I used Ella Rae Lace Merino sock yarn (two colors) and size 3 needles. I just barely got this done on January 31, 2013. I know it looks kind-of small but it fits over my head so I'm happy! :)

2013 - 22

Project number 22 was a challenge project for a swap. We had to make something using materials from the Dollar Store. I made a notions bag using Disney dishcloths. This was sent to Tanya in Canada. :)

I'll try to remember to take a picture of the finished project the next time I have the camera out. P.S. the zipper I used came from stash, not the dollar store. Updated with completion pics.

2013 - 21

Project number 21 is some fingerless mitts I made as a sample to display at the shop. I used some new yarn we got in recently, Zealana Kauri (fingering weight), and a new pattern on Ravelry, Frosted Winterberry Fingerless Gloves. It was a fun and quick knit on size 5 dpn's and was completed by the end of January.
