2013 - 83

Here is project number 83. This is a little baby hat I whipped up as a shop sample out of some new yarn we just got in. It's called Bamboo Pop and is 50/50 cotton/bamboo. It was fun to work with and it knit up really quick. This was completed March 23, 2013.

Here are projects 76 through 79. These are squares for my year-long square swaps. These were completed in February and March.

This is the Group 1 March square, that went to Sue in PA. I used Ella Rae Classic Superwash, which is 100% superwash wool.

This is the Group 2 March square, that went to Jennifer in CA. I used Peaches & Cream, which is 100% cotton.

This is the Group 1 April square, that went to Sue in PA (yes she did two months). Again, I used Ella Rae Classic Superwash.

This is the Group 2 April square, that went to Barbara in PA. This is also Ella Rae Classic Superwash.

2013 - 69 through 75

Here are projects 69 through 75. More homemade stitch makers to be handed out in various swaps. Most of the materials came from stash (had to buy more wire and crimps). These were all completed on March 5, 2013.

This is the two sides of one set. These went to Karey in LA for the Mark the Spot March Dream Big swap.

I made 6 sets of these, which have been given out to Jaq in TN for the KISS Bust Your Stash Swap, Barbara in WA for the Dollar Store Spring Cleaning Swap, and the other four have not left yet.

2013 - 59 through 68

Here are projects 59 through 68. I made 10 Easter towels to be given out in various swaps and RAKs this month. All the material came from stash, and they were completed March 5, 2013.

The towels went to the following people:

2 for Shateen in MN for the KISS Baby Shower RAK

1 to Larene in CO for a RAK

One has not been given away yet

2013 - 58

Here is project number 58. I knit a sample for the shop of out some new yarn we got in that is exclusive to us. It's from an independent dyer here in Virginia. It's called Kelpie Fibers and is a dk weight 100% merino. The color I used is Sagebrush (which sold right away, of course). The pattern, A Nobel Cowl, is a free one on Ravelry. This was completed March 4, 2013.

2013 - 52 through 57

Here are projects 52 through 57. I made 6 premie baby hats for Newborns in Need. I used Plymouth Dreambaby DK and Katia Sugar for baby, both of which had been donated to the Guild. The pattern came from Knitting for Peace. Hats were completed by March 4, 2013.

I thought I have a picture of one of them but I can't find it. I'm making more for the April Guild meeting, so will definitely take a picture of those.

2013 - 51

Here is project number 51. I made a pair of Crazy socks as a RAK for Sharon in NC. I used Patons Stretch Socks in Olive and Kelp, which I pulled from stash, and I used the Socks a la Carte book, for the pattern. They were completed February 27, 2013.

2013 - 41 through 50

Here are projects 41 through 50. I made 10 wash clothes to be donated to a cancer care center. They were shipped to Jill in NJ, who was collecting them in honor of her daughter who passed away because of cancer recently. I used scraps and got them all completed by February 26, 2013.
